Job Description Work closely with the Professor on the successful implementation of the Oil, Rights and Development Simulation, all-day events on Friday and Saturday, April 17 & 18, 2020 The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, ability to work with minimal supervision, and some experience with Event Management. Specific responsibilities include: attend the Simulation on April 19 & 20, 2020; prepare the logistics for the course under supervision of the Professor; ensure that AV services are set-up; prepare and distribute materials for the student participants; direct participants; organize catering, set-up and assist running the course.
Job Requirements - Excellent organizational, communications and leadership skills; - Strong attention to detail; - Must be able to manage tasks and time with minimal supervision; - Preference for a student familiar with the simulation, or who has taken the course last year; - Demonstrated interest and knowledge of human rights or humanitarian issues preferred, but not required.
